Psychiatric Technician (13304)

Job Description

InGenesis is currently seeking a Psychiatric Technician to work with our this role you will provide compassionate hands-on care and behavioral support to individuals with developmental disabilities and / or severe psychiatric conditions in residential and community settings. This role involves direct care coaching and implementation of nursing and behavioral support plans.

Key Responsibilities :

Direct Care & Support (40%)

• Assist consumers with daily living activities (e.g. bathing grooming mobility dining).
• Support independence in household tasks (e.g. laundry cooking cleaning).
• Promote consumer rights choice-making and positive behavioral interventions.
• Escort consumers to appointments and community activities.
• Maintain adaptive equipment and assist in recreational vocational and educational programs.

Observation & Reporting (15%)

Nursing Procedures (15%)

Interdisciplinary Team Participation (15%)
