Job Description
As a UI Developer, you will develop full-stack software ranging from controlling hardware to application software. You will design, build, and maintain clear, efficient, reusable, and reliable code using C#, XAML / WPF, and other languages as needed. You will identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems. Additionally, you will propose designs and alternatives for internal team discussions, resulting in functional applications. Collaboration with various disciplines and departments to develop and deploy new products is essential, as is interacting directly with hardware components for development and testing.
Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack software that ranges from controlling hardware to application software.
- Design, build, and maintain clear, efficient, reusable, and reliable code using C#, XAML / WPF, and other languages as needed.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems.
- Propose designs and alternatives for internal discussions within the team resulting in functional applications.
- Collaborate with various disciplines and departments to develop and deploy new products.
- Interact directly with hardware components for development and testing.
Essential Skills
7+ years of experience working with C# and .Net (8 and above), demonstrating Senior or Principal Level capabilities with little direction required.Experience with UI design for Windows desktop applications, with development from scratch rather than tweaks / upgrades.Proficiency in Blazor, Webforms, or MVC is mandatory.Understanding of lifecycle management, page lifecycle, user controls, partial views, data binding, and state management.Familiarity with object-oriented design and test-driven development.Experience in the Azure environment / tools, with a focus on DevOps. Jira can substitute for DevOps experience.Experience with automated UI testing is preferred.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with hardware control systems is desirable.Adjacent experience working with hardware is beneficial as the desktop application drives a control system.Work Environment
This role requires you to work on-site five days a week at a brand-new facility. The work environment is highly collaborative with a strong focus on research and development. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $76.92 / hr.
