Job Description

  • Hours : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
  • Employed
  • Degrees Accepted : MD / DO
  • New Graduates Welcome to Apply
  • Average patients seen : 12 to 15 daily
  • Loan Repayment

    JOB SUMMARY :

    Under general supervision, the physician provides medical care to patients and clinical and / or administrative oversight of health department programs; serves as medical director of Primary Care and Homeless Health Clinic.

    QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Must have graduated from an accredited school of medicine with a Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy degree (DO).
  • Must possess a State of Tennessee medical license or have applied for licensure in the State of Tennessee.
  • Must possess a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
  • Must have completed residency in Family Practice and must be board certified or eligible for board certification in Family Practice within one (1) year of date of hire.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Prefer 1 year or more of leadership or management experience within a clinical or hospital setting is preferred.
