Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant located in Pasadena, CA. The Medical Assistant will assist in providing support for clinical and administrative tasks including patient care, maintaining medical records, scheduling, preparing examination rooms, and communicating with healthcare providers and patients. The role also involves ensuring a safe and organized environment for optimal operational efficiency in the medical office.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting and familiarity with Medical Office operations
• Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Experience in Patient Care and handling medical records
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy in managing patient records
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative medical environment
• Certifications such as Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent are required
• Previous experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, or a related field is advantageous but not required
