Description :

Faber and Brand, LLC, a multi-state law firm focusing on creditors’ rights, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter in their Dispute Department, as a full-time employee. Our firm is a fun, casual, and engaging workplace. We offer flexible scheduling, an in-depth training program, room for advancement for motivated candidates, and a generous compensation package. Prior law firm experience is not necessary as we provide on-site training.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :

Working closely with Attorneys and Compliance team
Handling incoming disputes and other correspondence in a timely manner
Analyzing disputes (on-the-job training is provided)
Paying attention to detail to ensure all procedures are followed correctly
Drafting various motions and other documents
Daily personal tasks

REPORTS TO :

Manager of the Dispute Department

Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS :

High School Diploma or its equivalent.

High degree of proficiency in office procedures, typing and machines.

Knowledge and practical experience regarding basic computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite.

Strong data entry skills and the ability to multi-task.

High degree of attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.

Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations.

Must be willing to communicate via email and telephone.

Must maintain confidentiality at all times.

Organized, able to multi-task.

Previous legal experience is not required, but preferred.
