Job Overview
As a Senior Associate Business Systems Analyst specializing in Workday Benefits, you will play a critical role in aligning our Workday Benefits configuration with business goals. Your expertise will help us optimize employee experiences and streamline benefits administration.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with Product Managers and System Architects to oversee Workday Benefits configurations and analysis, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Identify and translate business needs into clear Workday Benefits configuration requirements, maintaining compliance and accuracy.
- Configure and manage benefit plans, eligibility rules, and enrollment processes, ensuring an effective benefits structure.
- Lead the setup and execution of Open Enrollment and Life Event processing, ensuring seamless benefits transitions.
- Partner with stakeholders to assess and define the scope of new benefits configurations or enhancements.
- Prioritize and manage a backlog of configuration deliverables, ensuring effective testing and rollouts.
- Clearly define Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done for all benefits-related changes.
- Collaborate with UX and HR Operations to enhance the employee enrollment experience and process efficiency.
- Validate and troubleshoot processing for benefit events, ensuring eligibility and enrollment accuracy.
- Conduct training and configuration demonstrations for HR teams and end users, facilitating effective knowledge transfer.
- Maintain detailed documentation of benefit configurations and workflows for audit and support purposes.
Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum of 7 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience, particularly in Benefits Administration.Strong expertise in configuring and managing comprehensive benefit plans, including eligibility rules.Deep understanding of event processing, open enrollment setup, and dependent verification configuration.Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex policies into system logic.Experience in full Workday implementations or substantial enhancements.Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Workday Benefits certification is preferred.Experience with Agile delivery practices and global HR operations.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with multi-country benefits configuration and local compliance.Familiarity with integrations between Workday Benefits, Payroll, and HCM modules.Understanding of benefit provider file feeds and event-based automation.Professional Certifications :
SAFe for Teams certification is preferred.Soft Skills :
