Adjunct Instructor for Business Administration

PURPOSE :

This is a Non-Tenure Track Adjunct position in the School of Business. Primary expectations include teaching  undergraduate and graduate Business Administration courses (as assigned) both in face-to-face and online formats  in the School of Business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Ability to plan and prepare course content and curriculum, utilizing assessment and effective methodologies  of instruction for the enhancement of learning aligned with ACBSP standards.
• Collaborate with other faculty members for the development, implementation and evaluation of the c urriculum.
• Provide appropriate classroom and online instruction for students enrolled in business course(s).
• Maintain expertise in the field of study and teaching pedagogy by attending seminars, workshops and c lasses for self-improvement and / or professional enhancement.
• Desired discipline-specific teaching with a demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness.
• Show commitment to the philosophy and outcomes of the School of Business. Maintain professional  development activities.
• Maintain positive relationships within the University and in the larger community.
