Our Client, an Utility and Energy Generation and Distribution company, is looking for a Senior Payroll Analyst(CTW) for their Portland, OR location.

Responsibilities :

Payroll Processing Oversight - ADP Vantage

  • Coordinate and monitor end-to-end payroll activities for both on- and off-cycle runs.
  • Ensure timely task execution and provide guidance to junior team members and on-site service coordinators.

Coordinating Data

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to manage and reconcile complex payroll inputs, such as multiple union pay calculations and special bonus programs.
  • Consult with various stakeholders on process development and strategies for execution.

    • Issue Resolution & Coaching

  • Address escalated payroll issues, provide coaching to team members and on-site service coordinators, and maintain up-to-date support documentation and resources.
  • Troubleshoot systematic issues and ensure processes and automations are operating within expectations.

    • Compliance & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain audit procedures and controls to ensure adherence to tax, wage, and benefit regulations.
  • Assist Manager with Certified Payroll Reporting processes along with 3rd party vendor, assuring weekly reporting is completed accurately, and processes documented.

    • Vendor Oversight

  • Support the Payroll Manager in managing outsourced services (e.g., garnishments, tax filing).
  • Monitor vendor performance, triaging and documenting issues and escalate trends or issues as needed.

    • Autonomy

  • Works autonomously, escalating only the most difficult matters to leadership team members for direction and guidance.
