Allied Universal Janitorial Services, an Allied Universal Company, is hiring a Recruiting Manager. The Recruiting Manager is responsible for developing and executing all recruiting strategies and operations within an assigned region to ensure a consistent pipeline of available and qualified candidates to meet branch hiring needs. The Recruiting Manager partners closely with the regional operations team to align hiring efforts with workforce demands and business goals. The Regional Recruiting Manager may expect to travel regularly within the region, including some overnight stays.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruiting strategies to maintain a steady pipeline of qualified candidates, leveraging all available sourcing channels across the region
- Partner with regional leadership and operations to forecast hiring needs and align recruitment plans accordingly; regularly review open positions, new account requirements, and replacement needs
- Represent recruiting strategies and performance in branch meetings, sharing insights and updates
- Collaborate with Human Resources and the recruiting director to maintain a "recruiting toolbox" of templates, flyers, and marketing materials that can be tailored by location
- Evaluate and participate in the design and maintain standard operating procedures for recruiting, promoting consistency and best practice use of tools and systems
- Support branch staff in using the applicant tracking system (iCIMS ATS), including job postings, status updates, and candidate management
- Monitor recruiting performance metrics; analyze hiring trends and source effectiveness to recommend improvements; report regularly on hiring outcomes, source return on investment (ROI), and projections
- Evaluate existing hiring and interview processes across branches; recommend and implement improvements to increase efficiency and interview-to-hire ratios; deliver coaching or training on interview techniques when needed
- Lead or support branch hiring events, especially during peak hiring periods or special projects
Qualifications (Must Have)
High school diploma or equivalentCurrent driver's license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle in the course of conducting business (e.g., client visits, attending recruiting and / or networking events)Minimum of two (2) years of recruiting or human resources management experience, preferably in a staffing or service-based industryExperience using data to drive decision-making and improve recruiting outcomesExcellent oral and written communication skills; able to influence stakeholders and collaborate across departmentsProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong organizational, analytical, and time management skillsProven ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentDemonstrated ability to take initiative and utilize independent judgmentAbility to handle sensitive information with discretionAble to adapt quickly to changing needs and prioritiesPreferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
