Job Summary / Description :

WCSC, the station and CBS affiliate in Charleston, South Carolina is looking for a full-time lifestyle videographer / editor to join the Emmy-winning Palmetto Life team. This candidate should be a visual storyteller with strong skills in cinematography and editing with the ability to work with lifestyle and sales teams to produce a variety of segments daily.

Duties / Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :

  • Shoot and edit video
  • Gather information and video
  • Be or become Drone certified
  • Set up and operate live shots when needed
  • Operate Live U backpacks solo or with a reporter
  • Maintain a professional manner in the field with station clients and sponsors
  • Project management and maintenance
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Must provide a creative reel demonstrating knowledge of video production, especially Adobe Premiere and DSLR cinematography.
  • Valid Driver’s license and good driving record required.
