What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :

  • Create, update, and manage web content for the employer's website, focusing on WordPress and the Content Management System
  • Perform accessibility verifications and remediations to ensure compliance with digital accessibility standards
  • Collaborate with the IT Director, Software Engineer, and Web Designer for guidance and support
  • Learn and adapt to new software and technologies as needed
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to meet deadlines

    • What is Required (Qualifications) :

  • Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Web Development, User Experience (UX) design)
  • Knowledge of web design and development practices
  • Familiarity with WordPress and basic HTML / CSS
  • Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :

  • Interest in accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus
  • Knowledge in copywriting and photo editing
