Summary The College of Business and Graduate School of Management seeks to establish a pool of potential graduate adjunct instructors to serve as dynamic and student-centered educators in service of the following academic areas : Business Analytics, Business Statistics, Data Visualization, Data Warehousing. Focused on experiential learning, and active engagement, adjuncts chosen to teach at Lewis will create a charismatic and professional learning environment for students of diverse learning backgrounds.
Adjunct positions at Lewis University are part-time teaching positions and may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an “as needed” basis. This posting may or may not result in the hiring of adjuncts. Adjunct Faculty provide a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis. Adjunct faculty report to their respective department chair and / or the dean and perform instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies and procedures of the University. The relationship of the adjunct faculty member to the student is one of teacher and facilitator of learning.

Three years of professional or industry experience in the specific subfield being taught.
Candidates who have evidence of prior quality teaching and / or training experience required and who indicate a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
Possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications PhD in the chosen or related discipline (Business Analytics, Management Science or Management Information Systems) is preferred.
