Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) - Senior Care

Part-Time (10 hours / week) | On-Site in Senior Care Communities- Woodstock / Acworth

Ascend Medical is seeking a warm, experienced therapist with a passion for working with older adults to join our Behavioral Health Team. This independent contractor position is ideal for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who enjoys building relationships and delivering impactful care on-site within senior living and long-term care communities.

In this role, you'll provide in-person therapy to older adults experiencing a range of emotional and behavioral health challenges-from depression, grief, and anxiety to cognitive decline, caregiver stress, and life transitions. You'll work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to support patients where they live, helping them feel seen, heard, and empowered.

Work Environment :

While this role is primarily in-person, some virtual follow-ups may be arranged as appropriate. As a contractor, this role does not include W-2 benefits such as health insurance or paid time off, but it offers substantial professional autonomy and work-life flexibility.
