Salary : $18-$21

Growing Kids Child Care is in need of a Facility Maintenance Staff member to join our team, ensuring our facilities remain safe, welcoming, and well-maintained for our children, families, and staff. The maintenance team oversee ten (10) Centers in Northern Indiana general infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

Perform light repairs, including fixing doors, windows, and minor plumbing or electrical issues

Handle painting and touch-up work to maintain a clean, professional appearance

Conduct routine upkeep, such as inspecting and maintaining HVAC systems, lighting, and general facility cleanliness

Respond promptly to maintenance requests to ensure a safe environment

Drive company vehicle to various locations for maintenance tasks

Requirements :

Valid drivers license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report to operate company vehicle

Must pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting due to potential interaction with children

Experience in basic facility maintenance, including repairs, painting, and general upkeep

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Positive attitude and ability to interact professionally in a child care environment

Preferred Qualifications :

Previous experience in facility maintenance for schools, child care centers, or similar settings (But not required)

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or carpentry
