We are seeking a highly skilled Cash Applications Manager to lead the Accounts Receivable cash application operations for our client in South Charlotte. This role will manage a team of specialists and ensure accurate, timely posting of payments to customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in high-volume environments, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
o Supervise and develop a team of cash application analysts.
o Oversee cash application processes
o Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
o Reconcile unapplied cash and deposits; resolve discrepancies with customers and internal teams.
o Implement best practices to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
o Lead automation initiatives
o Partner with collections, billing, and finance teams to resolve payment issues.
o Prepare and analyze cash application reports for leadership review.
o Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities.
Qualifications
o 5+ years in cash application or accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
o Experience in shared services or high-volume environments preferred.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups).
o Excellent communication and leadership skills.
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Preferred Attributes
Pay Details : $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
