ICAN is seeking a full time occupational therapist assistant (COTA) to join our multidisciplinary team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing services to neurodiverse youth and excited to work in a collaborative environment.

Your Role :
Treating a variety of developmental disordersOur population consists of Autism (ASD), ADHD, language-based learning disorders, AAC users, motor speech disorders, articulation / phonological disorders, and developmental delays
Timely completion of documentation including daily SOAP notes, progress notes, initial and re-evaluationsImplement evidence based, neurodiversity affirming treatment techniques including sensory-based strategies and a strengths-based approach to improve independence in childhood occupationsCollaborate with speech therapists, physical therapists, BCBA's, psychologists, and other team members to provide a whole child approachModify the learning environment to suit patients' skill progressionsEffectively provide parent and family educationEngage in cultural responsiveness when treatment planning for culturally diverse populationEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
