UX Design Manager, Advertiser Experience, Advertising User Experience

Amazon Advertising is looking for a high-caliber tested design leader to create innovative experiences that streamline enterprise workflows internally and externally globally this role youll lead (and grow) a high-performing team of UX professionalsworking collaboratively with user research engineering and product management through all aspects of the product development life-cycle.

This work has strategic significance and high leadership exposure. Youll have the opportunity to build new advertising solutions for business customers starting from product definition through design and delivery. Most importantly you will have direct insights from customers and impact the customer experience of advertisers agencies and brand-owners globally.

Our ideal candidate is a pragmatic manager who can operate both tactically with high attention to details as well as think big visualizing an experience in the abstract and then driving that vision into solid design deliverables (e.g. UI IA prototypes) with their team. Establishing a strong design process and efficiently and effectively managing project requests and resourcing is also critical to success.

Key job responsibilities

Own the end-to-end design process ensuring high quality deliverables.

Translate business needs into customer-focused enterprise solutions.

Responsibly and effectively advocate for customers; imparting day-to-day strategic design leadership that fosters a shared understanding of the customer-centric intersection between design content business and technology needs.

Grow and mentor UX talent.

Partner with UX research and product managers to appropriately assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features (using usability findings customer feedback site metrics etc.)

• 6 years of design experience
• 3 years of leading design teams experience
• Experience managing teams
• Experience designing software for end users or enterprise customers
• Experience working cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from product management engineering testing and marketing
• Experience with agile / scrum

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136400 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $225500 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and / or other benefits.
