We are looking for a skilled Data / Information Architect to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Hartford, Connecticut. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in designing and implementing robust data architectures while working with cutting-edge tools like Microsoft Purview. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data migration and information governance.

Responsibilities :

  • Assess existing data and information management systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Lead the migration of commercial tools to Microsoft Purview, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Develop and implement data architecture strategies that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions for managing digital files, legal documentation, and other critical data assets.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related systems.
  • Ensure data loss prevention (DLP) measures are effectively incorporated into the architecture.
  • Create detailed documentation outlining design processes, data workflows, and system configurations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously refine and enhance data management capabilities.
  • Support the organization in meeting regulatory standards and maintaining data security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data systems and architecture.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture or related fields.
  • Proven expertise in Purview and data migration from commercial tools.
  • Strong knowledge of digital file management and legal documentation processes.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central and its integration capabilities.
  • Experience with data loss prevention (DLP) strategies and implementation.
  • Ability to design and document complex data workflows and system architectures.
  • Background in the insurance sector is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
