Hospitalist

Hospitalist physician job in Michigan : Join a university-affiliated health system in Central Michigan. You'll serve a diverse patient population including underserved and low-income communities while precepting residents and medical students in a hospital setting. This faculty role balances clinical practice with administrative, educational, and research responsibilities. Only a 25 minute drive to an International airport and 1.5 hour drive to Detroit.

7 on / 7 off 7 AM-7 PM.  Respond to rapid responses, no codes or procedures required.  Strong interest and demonstrated ability in clinical teaching and medical education..  Competitive salary and full benefits including CME, malpractice, and more.  Quick 1.5 hour drive to Detroit.  Average patient census is 15.  Closed ICU but hospitalists help transition patients.
