NW Employment Solutions is partnered with a Metal Components Company in Tualatin and we are looking to add an Press Brake Operator to join our team.
Shift : Day 6am-2 : 30pm, Swing 2 : 15pm-10 : 45pm Shift Differential
Pay : $17-25 DOE
Primary Job Function
This position performs a variety of press brake operations usually on steel, aluminum or stainless-steel plate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Selects multi-purpose and general-purpose brake dies and punches.
- Sets dies and punches, stops and adjust ram for varying plate thickness.
- Plans sequence of multiple pass operations for series of bends and other fabricating operations on complicated sections, making all allowances for parts fitting together at welding and convenience in assembly, as required.
- Perform periodic preventive maintenance
- May instruct and direct less experienced operators
- Follows established safety protocols including required usage of PPE; helps to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keeps work area clean and organized
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Minimum skills, knowledge, education, certifications and related job experience that employee typically must have to perform essential functions of the job acceptably.
