A company is looking for a Utilization Management Behavioral Care Advocate - Remote. Key Responsibilities Perform utilization management and concurrent review of behavioral health admissions and continued stay Ensure behavioral health services are medically necessary and provided in the most appropriate setting Manage discharge planning and transitions between care settings to ensure quality outcomes Required Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field, or registered psychiatric nurse Active, unrestricted, independent license in a behavioral health field or as a Registered Nurse (RN) 3+ years post-licensure clinical experience in a related behavioral health environment Proficiency in MS Office Suite Access to secure, high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace at home
