High School School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Birmingham, Alabama

A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed to provide support during a leave assignment at a high school in Birmingham, AL. This contract role spans from February 17 to April 17, covering school hours from 8 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, with a spring break scheduled for March 23-27.

Responsibilities include implementing therapy plans tailored to individual student needs, collaborating with school staff to support student progress, and documenting treatment outcomes. The COTA will work closely with the occupational therapist and educational team to enhance student participation in school activities.

Qualifications and experience desired :

• Current COTA certification
