About the Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial interior projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal leadership. Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills are critical in this highly client-facing role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of commercial interior construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Oversee project planning, buyout, subcontractor coordination, and procurement.
- Lead client meetings, maintain continuous communication, and manage expectations throughout the project.
- Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and deliver weekly updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with superintendents to support field operations, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company quality standards.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and design teams to encourage repeat business.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.Strong background in commercial interiors (corporate TI, medical, retail, hospitality, creative office, etc.).Demonstrated tenure with previous employers (no job-hopping).Excellent communication skills, professional presence, and a strong, positive personality.Proficiency with relevant construction platforms (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Based in—or willing to commute daily to—the Austin area.Compensation & Benefits
