Job Summary : The Testing Technician will be responsible for conducting tests and inspections on transformers to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering and production teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform electrical and mechanical tests on transformers, including insulation resistance, power factor, and temperature rise tests.
- Utilize testing equipment and tools to gather data and analyze test results.
- Document and report test results, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Assist in the development and improvement of testing procedures and protocols.
- Participate in quality control initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
