Job Summary

Our client is seeking a qualified Medical Billing Specialist to process accounts receivable for all CNS facilities and select physicians. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of accuracy in documentation and input, as well as flexibility and adaptability to the needs of staff, insurance carriers, and patients. This full-time role during weekdays requires some overtime on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities include managing data within a computer system, handling billing inquiries, and maintaining professional relationships with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and tabulate information from the database to prepare invoices.
• Assist therapists with billing inquiries.
• Process A / R billing promptly and enter information into a computerized system.
• Print, transmit, and mail invoices, ensuring all necessary documentation is included.
• Verify insurance and billing information for non-covered charges and maintain this data.
• Attend facility billing meetings and collaborate with Reimbursement Specialists for A / R collections.
• Maintain systematic files for all patients and foster professional and ethical relationships.
