Job Title : Data Science Engineer

Location : Boston / Hybrid

Overture Partners' client has an immediate need for a Data Science Engineer. To secure an interview for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria :

Must Haves :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
5+ years’ experience with AWS (Glue, S3, SageMaker) and Snowflake.
Strong Python skills; experience with Spark for big data processing.
Knowledge of ML algorithms for regression, classification, clustering, and recommendations.
Experience deploying and monitoring ML models in production.
Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing concepts.
Understanding of MLOps, CI / CD, and containerization with Docker.
AWS, Python, or Spark certifications a plus.

What the Client Needs you to Do :

The Data Science Engineer will design, build, and optimize advanced data solutions using AWS Glue, Python, Spark, Snowflake, S3, SageMaker, and machine learning. Will develop data pipelines, train and deploy ML models, and collaborate with teams to generate actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities :

Build and maintain ETL pipelines using AWS Glue for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.

Use Python and Spark for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model development.

Design scalable data lake and warehouse solutions using Snowflake and S3.

Train, evaluate, deploy, and monitor ML models with SageMaker.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into predictive analytics solutions.

Conduct EDA and visualization to communicate trends and insights.

Implement GitHub Actions for CI / CD of ML workflows.

Build and manage Docker containers for model deployment.
