A Typical Day...

As a Tax Specialist at H&R Block, you'll benefit from comprehensive training provided by a team of experts dedicated to your success. You'll also enjoy the flexibility to balance your unique life and career while having opportunities for extra earnings.

Conduct engaging tax interviews with clients in-person and through virtual channels such as video, phone, chat, and email.

Prepare thorough and accurate tax returns to ensure client satisfaction.

Drive business growth by enhancing client retention and offering additional products and services.

Assist clients with IRS inquiries and support their needs effectively.

Collaborate with team members to achieve office objectives and maintain a positive work environment.

Continuously expand your tax knowledge and expertise throughout your career.

It would be even better if you also had...

A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.

Prior experience in customer service or retail roles.

A background in fast-paced, supportive working environments.

The ability to commit to a minimum of 25-35 hours per week during tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks.

What you'll bring to the team...

Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.

Experience within a high-energy work environment.

Proficiency in using virtual communication tools such as video, phone, and chat.

Strong communication skills in-person, over the phone, and in writing.

Compliance with all IRS and applicable state requirements.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
