Overview
Part time 36 hours / week | 7 : 00am - 7 : 00pm, variable days of the week
The Critical Care Technician is responsible for assisting with or independently providing direct patient care to those individuals assigned to them by the Manager / Registered Nurse. Those services shall be provided in a manner that displays compassion, caring and respect.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements :
Licensed EMT or Paramedic; OR
CNA or PCA with one (1) year of patient care experience in a clinical setting preferred (acute care preferred); OR
Nursing students currently enrolled in an approved program for preparation of either professional nurses or licensed practical nurses. Must have successfully completed the didactic and clinical portion of a nursing fundamental course work; OR
Current employees who have completed an approved professional nursing or licensed practical nursing program and are awaiting NCLEX authorization to test (up to 90 days post-graduation); OR
Current employees who have completed an approved professional nursing or licensed practical nursing program and have been unsuccessful in passing the NCLEX examination (up to 6 months post initial authorization to test).
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation : Employees in this position : Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose
