We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Engineer - Civil Engineer to join our team.  This position is 40 hours per week in our Tempe office.  This position will support our Northern Nevada operations.  Relocation assistance available for well-qualified candidates!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares hydrologic and hydraulic models using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, & Flo-2D.
• Prepares hydrologic and hydraulic studies and FEMA permitting; prior floodplain modeling work experience in Douglas County is a preferable.
• Researches jurisdictional drainage requirements for appropriate incorporation into design and construction drawings.
• Oversees production of drainage design and construction drawings using AutoCAD & MicroStation
• Performs data management and prepare exhibits using ArcGIS and QGIS desirable.
• Works as a member of a multi-discipline team.
• Mentors EIT staff regarding hydrologic and hydraulic theory and practice
• Conducts site visits and document findings.
• Writes and coordinates preparation of graphic materials for presentations and documents.
