We are seeking a meticulous and technically skilled Hardware Tester to join our quality assurance team. The Hardware Tester will be responsible for evaluating, testing, and validating computer hardware and electronic devices to ensure they meet company and industry standards. This role is critical in identifying product defects and ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance of our hardware products before they reach the market.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct rigorous testing of hardware components, including but not limited to motherboards, processors, memory modules, storage devices, and peripheral equipment.

Develop and execute test cases and procedures based on product specifications and quality standards.

Document and report defects, malfunctions, or inconsistencies, providing detailed technical feedback to engineering and development teams.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, and quality assurance) to resolve hardware issues and improve product design.

Utilize diagnostic tools and software for performance benchmarking and troubleshooting.

Maintain accurate testing records and prepare comprehensive test reports.

Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Recommend improvements to testing procedures and protocols.

Stay updated on the latest hardware trends, testing methodologies, and industry standards.

Qualifications

Associates or Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Proven experience in hardware testing, quality assurance, or a similar technical role.

Solid understanding of computer hardware architecture and electronic circuits.

Proficiency with diagnostic and testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Hourly Pay Rate

60 $80 per hour (commensurate with experience, education, and technical proficiency).
