Industrial Hygiene Technician

Qualifications :

• Associates degree in environmental science or related field
• Ability / willingness for frequent regional travel for fieldwork up to 80% with some overnight shifts
• Valid drivers license with a safe driving record
• Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills in English - good writing skills
• Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook etc.)
• Ability to perform complex tasks and handle multiple priorities

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of EPA OSHA regulations as well as local regulations and guidance documents.
• Able / willing to use Personal Protective Equipment including the use of respirators.
• Able to participate in medical surveillance including respirator fit testing and vaccinations.
• The ability to prepare clear concise oral and written reports.
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing and to maintain harmonious internal and external relationships.
• Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and / or data entry.

Additional Information :

The pay range for this role is between $22 - $25 per hour.
