Job Summary :
The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of the organization to patients seeking diagnostic and routine lab services. The role involves drawing and preparing blood samples for testing, ensuring quality, safety, and patient comfort throughout the collection process. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, precision, and empathy while performing all aspects of patient interaction and specimen collection. Key Responsibilities :
- Perform clinical and forensic phlebotomy collections with accuracy and care.
- Establish a professional and confident environment for patients through clear communication and empathy.
- Verify patient information and ensure proper labeling of all specimens.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards.
- Perform daily operational activities efficiently and on schedule .
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control policies.
- Promote the company’s image and contribute to a safe, professional, and organized work environment.
Required Experience :
– years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.At least years in a patient service center preferred.Customer service experience in a retail, healthcare, or service environment strongly preferred.Nice-to-Have Experience :
Experience supporting multiple phlebotomy or patient service locations.Familiarity with diagnostic laboratory workflows.Prior experience with the client or similar health service providers.Required Skills :
Excellent phlebotomy technique and patient interaction skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and safety regulations.Flexibility for occasional schedule adjustments.Effective communication and teamwork in high-volume environments.Additional Skills :
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Commitment to dress code, safety, and organizational policies.Familiarity with data entry and electronic documentation systems.Education :
