Structural Technician III

Title : Structural Technician III

Location : Englewood, CO

Duties :

As a Structural Technician III, you will be using your skills and expertise to assemble and / or create major assembly structures and minor part-fitting operations such as filing, sawing, burring, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling and reaming.

• You will be responsible for aligning parts on jigs and aerospace vehicles using templates and fixtures, and measuring parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions.
• You also may be responsible for modifying incomplete and complete assemblies and incorporating the changes into the structure, and monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
• Physical / Mental / Emotional Requirements :
• Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps.
• Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity.
• Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colours.
• Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes.
• Frequently lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs. Working Conditions :
• Frequently exposed to outdoor elements (high / low temperatures, sun, rain / snow,
• Occasionally exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals / materials.
• Frequently exposed to loud noises. Safety Sensitive Position :
• Responsible for the safety or security of people or property.
• Inspects structures, equipment or vehicles.
• Performs aviation related duties.
• Operate or supervise vehicles, heavy or dangerous equipment or machinery
