Duties :
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen manager or chef.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
- Handle and store food items in accordance with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and requests.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen.
- Perform inventory control of all food items in the kitchen.
_ Grocery Shopping if needed for the kitchen cafe and assist the kitchen chef.
Experience :
Previous experience in a hospitality or culinary role is preferred but not required.Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and food safety practices is a plus.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.Note : This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
