Responsible for developing managing marketing underwriting and sustaining profitable business by providing high level technical and sales expertise with commercial insurance coverages for the clients of independent and retail insurance agents and brokerages.

Job Responsibilities :

As a Wholesale Insurance Broker you will solicit develop and maintain relationships with retail brokers / agencies to generate new and renewal revenue streams focused on Senior Living Casualty products and services. This role is vital to the success of the Healthcare division of SPG. As a Wholesale Insurance Producer you will be supported by leadership and service teams to achieve a high level of growth and you will be the cornerstone of our superior customer service and will be charged with ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities of the Producer role include but are not limited to :

Generating and pursuing new client opportunities

Presenting our services and solutions to clients

Bringing new and renewal business prospects to closure

Retaining clients by maintaining solid relationships

Prospect identify develop new clients

Prepare / assist in contracting of clients and any required paperwork

Develop and maintain current knowledge of SPGs core business partners and their products

Work optimally with team to ensure sales targets are achieved

Work with clients to ensure the optimal coverage is offered including quoting and / or follow-up

Support clients by providing technical support product education etc.

Maintain industry memberships / licenses with regulatory bodies

Attend and participate in ongoing education for industry knowledge

Job Requirements :

In the Wholesale Insurance Sales Producer role you must be an independent self-starter who is able to solicit and develop strong relationships with retail agencies. We are seeking a confident professional who is not afraid of cold-calling and developing new business.

Other requirements of the Producer role include but are not limited to :

Active Property and Casualty License

5 years of previous experience in sales and / or underwriting.

Senior Living casualty experience.

Bachelors degree required.

Must be sales driven and enjoy business development with the ability to develop foster and maintain excellent working relationships.

Ability to understand clients needs and have knowledge of the risk profiles associated.

Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines.

Strong communication interpersonal multi-tasking and organizational skills required

The preferred candidate is a team player with a great attitude self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Salary Transparency :

Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations : The expected draw range for this position will be $110k-$120 with additional bonus opportunity. This compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as their historical book of business. A variable compensation package will be offered to enable the position to have high income earning capability.
