As a Yield Technology Equipment Engineer Intern at Micron, you will learn about the optical, x-ray, and eBeam equipment used in innovative solutions to detect sources of variation in next generation memory solutions. The goal of this internship is to become familiar with in line and lab inspection equipment to help develop new solutions for efficiency and tool performance. We need engineers who are passionate about detecting problems and making changes for the better, and seek out innovative ways in how to do things.
We will assign you a project to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Your research tasks are designed to optimize and improve predictability of RDA's operations. Through this project we will provide the opportunity for you to collaborate with engineers across process control, data science, yield analysis, and metrology. At the end of the period, we want the cohort to have a deep understanding of the processes, detection capabilities, and measurement strategies used in today’s semiconductor defect analysis department. We will enable this with ground breaking strategies and next generation equipment. This is opportunity starts in the spring and goes through the summer.
