Job Summary

At Miebach Consulting, we build supply chains that deliver today and inspire tomorrow. We are seeking a dynamic and driven consultant to lead clients through digital supply chain transformations, with a specific focus on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), automation technologies, and IT implementations. This role will take ownership of full project cycles—from assessment to design and implementation—across a range of clients and industries.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with Blue Yonder (JDA) expertise and a proven record of delivering value-driven warehouse and IT process transformations.

Responsibilities

Project Execution

  • Analyze current-state warehouse operations, IT systems, and business processes to identify improvement areas.
  • Design and propose future-state warehouse processes and WMS configurations (Blue Yonder preferred), incorporating automation where relevant.
  • Lead software selection processes, including RFP / RFQ development, evaluation, and recommendation.
  • Develop functional IT and process specifications aligned with client business needs and technology capabilities.
  • Apply structured change management methodologies to ensure seamless adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Facilitate training sessions, develop materials, and lead workshops for internal teams and client stakeholders.
  • Conduct high-impact presentations with client executive teams and project sponsors.

Project Management

  • Manage cross-functional project teams comprising internal consultants, client stakeholders, and technology vendors.
  • Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure project milestones and budgets are achieved; lead change request and escalation management.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for client communication and decision-making.

    • Client Relationship & Business Development

  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client priorities and aligning solutions to strategic goals.
  • Support proposal creation and business development efforts with tailored solutions and domain expertise.
  • Contribute to Miebach's thought leadership by mentoring junior consultants and enhancing internal methodologies.

    • Qualifications

  • 4–8 years of experience in consulting, supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, or systems implementation.
  • Proven expertise with Warehouse Management Systems—particularly Blue Yonder (JDA)—including functional design, configuration oversight, and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of adjacent systems such as TMS, MES, LMS, WES, WCS, YMS, and slotting tools.
  • Experience leading end-to-end software implementation projects.
  • Familiarity with both agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
  • Willingness to travel between 40 to 70%, including internationally.
