Role : Principal Test Systems Technical Lead EngineerClient : Defense-AerospacePay Rate : up to $82 / hr (W2, non-benefited) Length : 1-year contractLocation : Tucson, AZClearance : Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire Description : -Communicate regularly with the program Integrated Product Team Leader (IPTL).-Responsible for the Technical Execution of the program.-Work directly with the Program Manager / IPTL to establish and complete program milestones.-Lead a multi-disciplinary team in an engineering environment.-Develop and participate in presentations for gate reviews.-Attend Failure Review Boards (FRBs) when required.-Attend Change Control Boards (CCBs) and approve system changes.-Report status metrics for your team to stakeholders.-Define program requirements in a multi-disciplinary team.-As the lead, you will be expected to provide training, as needed, understand the scope, cost and schedule of the Program and define / delegate tasking for your team.-Travel up to 20% to support development and / or delivery of our test environment equipment. Required Skills & Experience : -Experience with the functionalities of Test Systems Engineering or equivalent Engineering experience for both hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance activities within production, manufacturing, product qualification environments.-Experience with design, development and / or integration of test equipment. Desired Skills & Experience : Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years' prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree and 5 years of experience.
