About The Position

Medicus is partnering with a hospital in central New York, offering a long-term opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a dedicated Emergency Medicine team.

Opportunity Highlights :

• Flexible Scheduling : 5-10 shifts per month, 7p-7a, no call shifts
• Daily Census : 8-21 patients
• Annual Volume : 10,000 patients
• 8 ED beds
• Procedures : Resuscitation, intubation (including surgical airways), ventilator management, pressor agents, sedation, and interpreting blood gases
• Will work independently on the ER and HM floors
• Support Staff : 2 RNs, LPN, respiratory therapist, supervising RN
• EMR : MedHost
• Board certification required
• Paid travel & lodging provided
