About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Research and Insights to lead its research function and ensure the profitability of industry insights and private research and consulting practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 6 research professionals, driving business development, and serving as the primary research leader for the organization. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of research and consulting engagements, presenting research at industry events, and producing high-quality, original content that reinforces the company's position as a thought leader in business intelligence.

Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, and a proven track record of being responsible for a P&L of 2M or more. The role requires expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, the ability to transform findings into compelling business narratives, and strong presentation skills for engaging with senior executives. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, with a keen eye for identifying opportunities and the ability to translate them into monetizable research solutions. Business development skills, including the ability to develop strategic client relationships and grow revenues, are essential for this position.
