About the Unit :

In our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , you will care for patients undergoing diverse neurosurgical procedures, including :

• Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections.
• Care for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery patients.
• Management of hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.

Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe and effective care.
• Apply clinical judgment and critical thinking to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure a positive patient experience throughout the care continuum.

Qualifications :

• Current Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Graduation from an accredited program in Nursing.
• At least one year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and critical decision-making skills.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and moving patients throughout the shift.
• Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and use protective equipment when necessary.
