About the Unit :
In our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , you will care for patients undergoing diverse neurosurgical procedures, including :
- Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections.
- Care for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery patients.
- Management of hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe and effective care.
- Apply clinical judgment and critical thinking to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure a positive patient experience throughout the care continuum.

Qualifications :
- Current Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Graduation from an accredited program in Nursing.
- At least one year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and critical decision-making skills.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and moving patients throughout the shift.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and use protective equipment when necessary.
