The Airworthiness Directive Compliance Specialist is directly responsible for overseeing Frontier's Airworthiness Directive management system and monitor the process for correct and timely compliance with all FAA Airworthiness Directives (AD)s.
Essential Functions
Review all ADs and Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM) for Frontier Airlines to determine applicability initial scheduling in conjunction with the AD & SDR Technical SpecialistEnsures that an Airworthiness Directive Analysis Worksheet (ADAW) (Form 30799) and Engineering Action Request were generated for each applicable AD.Reviews, approves and releases initial and updated AD FMIS entries for trackingReviews, approves and releases initial and updated engineering AD FMIS entries for trackingReviews Airworthiness Directive Analysis Worksheet (ADAW) (Form 30799) when updated by the Engineering department and provides concurrence of analysis for AD compliance.Receive, record, and distribute ADs, NPRMs, and new or revised maintenance-related CFRs to the appropriate parties for their evaluation for applicability and incorporation into FrontierReview Engineering Orders applicable to ADsMaintain a database of all ADs and NPRMsMonitor all of Maintenance organization activities relative to complying with all ADs and report the status to the AD Review BoardMonitors all aspects of AD compliance and reports delinquent status to the Manager of Regulatory Compliance.VDRP Maintain familiarization with the training requirements necessary as defined in the GMM 100.03 and ensure training is current prior to performing the functions and tasks of this Position VDRPOther Functions
