Description
A financial services organization is seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator to support on-premises SharePoint farms and assist with the transition to cloud-based collaboration environments. This role focuses on maintaining system reliability, overseeing patching and upgrades, and ensuring high-quality performance across multiple environments. Success requires a senior-level administrator who can own farm health, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and support cross-functional technical teams.
What You’ll Tackle
- Administer and maintain on-prem SharePoint farms across Dev, UAT, and Production
- Manage site creation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and storage controls
- Monitor server performance, utilization, logs, workflows, and search architecture
- Support SharePoint Online adoption and assist with migration planning and execution
- Troubleshoot permissions, workflows, server issues, and application-level errors
- Perform disaster recovery activities and ensure environments meet security baselines
- Review indexing and crawl configurations for search efficiency
- Collaborate with IT, business units, and support teams to maintain stable operations
