SPYR Apps LLC is seeking a Mobile Games Data Warehouse Architect with a proven track record in the Mobile / Social gaming space with a passion for games. We're looking for the best talent out there to work with a team of creative developers, marketing and production people to create excellent game experiences and mobile applications. You will also help manage our growing portfolio of third party titles that we are publishing globally. In this role, you'll help to organize internal data to provide more visibility to our executive, marketing and product teams on current and historical performance, and their opportunities for growth. You will be the integral connection between business, product and data groups; ultimately, your work will help improve user acquisition and experience and impact retention, monetization and ROI in our games and apps. Ideal candidates will have a blend of strong technical ability with a business-savvy mindset. Strong with SQL or Hive, and exposure to advanced databases like Vertica, Hadoop, or Netezza, with the expertise to automate ETL processes with Python or similar programming language. Having an understanding of business operations, and how reporting and data visualization may be utilized to support decision-making and execution of the business strategy will be critical in this role. A proactive and detailed mindset will ensure that reporting solutions are successfully developed and delivered in a timely manner, and allow us to focus on the overall success of company-wide key performance metrics.

Skill Set

What we're looking for :

  • Experience in building data pipelines within Business Intelligence or Data Warehouse groups, preferably in a leadership position
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal, and ability to communicate to technical and non-technical groups in remote offices
  • Advanced SQL knowledge (minimum of 5 years)
  • Proficiency in at least one other Analytics language : Java, Python, SAS, or similar (minimum of 3 years)
  • Hands-on experience with advanced SQL constructs and development on web-scale databases, Hadoop, or NoSQL technologies.
  • Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tool (minimum of 2 years)
  • Rapid prototyping fully functional web-based user interfaces on real data
  • Minimum of 8 years in-depth business intelligence, predictive analytics, and statistics experience (building models and datasets)
  • Minimum of 4 years in-depth experience in performance or mobile marketing analysis
  • Desire to guide team of Business Intelligence Analyst and provide mentorship towards professional growth.
  • Ability to execute fast-paced and dynamic projects in a highly organized manner on a tight schedule
  • Ability to successfully manage large amounts of data while balancing priorities and time constraints
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Math, or Computer Science
  • Current US Work Authorization
