POSITION SUMMARY : The Staffing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Nursing Division by managing and maintaining staffing schedules that align with organizational policies and patient care needs. This position is responsible for coordinating daily and long-term staffing plans, monitoring staffing levels, and ensuring compliance with established scheduling guidelines. The Staffing Coordinator collaborates with unit managers and leadership to identify staffing gaps, facilitate float assignments, and support efficient resource utilization. Additionally, the role includes tracking attendance. Through proactive communication and attention to detail, the Staffing Coordinator helps ensure safe, consistent, and high-quality staffing across all units

PROVISION OF SERVICES / CARE STANDARDS

• The Staffing Coordinator supports the Nursing Division by managing staffing schedules, coordinating daily staffing adjustments, and ensuring appropriate coverage across all units.
• This role assists with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and communication of staffing changes to relevant leadership.
• They adhere to safety and injury prevention standards to minimize risk to self, co-workers, patients, and visitors.
• Professional behavior is maintained when addressing issues or conflicts, utilizing appropriate resources as needed.
• The role promotes a safe, efficient, and collaborative environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
