Job Title : Commercial HVAC Pipefitter
Pay Scale : We pay based on experience; we are highly competitive in the local market
Work Hours : 4 -10's schedule with overtime if / when required
What you will be doing :
Layout, fabrication, assembly and installation of both, carbon and stainless-steel piping as related to contract drawingsPerform mathematical calculations pertaining to the manipulation of angles such as rolling offsets, cutback of fittings, and takeout between welds and other fitsInspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methodsQualifications / Skills
Stable means of transportation to job sites5 + years of continuous pipefitting experience desired3 + years of Commercial HVAC pipefitting experience desiredMust be able to interpret construction blueprints and plans or build to customer specification pipe systems, supports, and related equipmentLay-out, fabricate, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. These systems may vary in shape, size, and pressureThread pipe using a pipe threading machineSecure pipe to structures with brackets, clamps, and hangers using hand tools and power toolsKnow proper procedures to fit welded pipe & sweat pipeMust be able to work with minimal direction from foremanCommunicate clearly verbally, in handwriting, and electronicallyAbility to motivate, coach, evaluate and provide guidance to all craft workers exposed to the projectStrong organizational and planning skills; Able to effectively allocate and develop resourcesParticipate in on-going training and career developmentMaintain safe work environment by establishing and enforcing safety policies and procedures; ensure compliance with federal, state and local jurisdictionsHigh school diploma or equivalentPass background check and drug screen
