Position : Database Administrator (DBA) || This is all onsite in Raleigh, NC Location : This is all onsite in Raleigh, NC Duration : 12+ months Visa : All Visa will work ( Expect OPT, CPT ) Must Have Skills : F2F interview required Job Description Understand data structures and schemas, and implementing appropriate indexes Able to create logical and physical models of data to represent relationships and ensure data integrity Required Working knowledge of DB2 and SQL Server database management systems (DBMS) Required Understanding of the process of extracting data from various sources, transforming it, and loading it into a database Required Use of at least one data cleansing tool Required Able to create and execute test cases Required Able to identify and resolve issues within the data cleansing process Highly desired Able to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Highly desired Must meet deadlines and manage multiple streams of work Required Able to dissect complex problems and derive insights from large datasets Highly desired Questions Your candidate must be able to attend an in-person interview. Under the direction of a data architect, this position will conduct data profiling, data analysis, data cleansing, database design, database implementation, data conversion, and data governance for the State's DMV data.Role Types : Database Analyst, Database ProgrammerExpected Skills : Able to work in a team environment as well as without assistance; can provide input and feedback to others; able to manage highly complex work efforts; may have advanced education; may have extensive industry experience.Description (including, but not limited to) : 1. Data analysis and database management2. Designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning3. Creation of requirements for database, database schema, data maps, ERDs, application objects (i.e., tables, indexes, views, etc.)4. Creation of data rules to identify areas for data cleansing5. Conducting data profiling, data analysis, data cleansing, database design, database implementation, data conversion, and data governance for the State's DMV data
