About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Lending Officer (CLO) and President to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for soliciting, interviewing, and responding to loan applicants, as well as managing all aspects of an assigned portfolio of loans and relationships. This includes structuring and analyzing new and renewed loan requests, assigning risk grades, and developing strategies for the delivery of quality customer service and the growth of high-quality loans. The CLO will also be tasked with maintaining a loan sales culture, implementing strategies to maximize loan relationships, and ensuring the effective delivery of sales and service training programs. Applicants must have a background in generating high-quality loan growth, meeting asset quality and loan earnings targets, and possess exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills. The role requires a candidate with a strong understanding of commercial and ag lending practices, policies, and procedures, as well as experience in analyzing business financial statements. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years' of similar or related experience, a bachelor's degree or equivalent industry-recognized certifications, and a proven track record of supervisory experience, strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills. The CLO will be expected to have a working knowledge of problem loan procedures and be adept at fostering sound relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
