Position : Dual Achievement Program Enrollment Coordinator

Location : Athens Campus

Department : Office of Secondary Initiatives

Reports to : Executive Director for Secondary Initiatives

Salary / Benefits : Salary is commensurate with education and experience. State of Georgia benefits package.

Responsibilities :

  • Respond to requests and inquiries from prospective applicants regarding the college’s programs and services.
  • Provide support for admissions for the Dual Achievement Program.
  • Review student files to verify that all required documents have been submitted and that all admissions requirements have been fulfilled and notify applicants of file status.
  • Ensure that applicants have the appropriate admissions requirements as outlined by program standards.
  • Enter information into the Banner student system as needed.
  • Process student program applications and related information and prepare student files.
  • Advise students during early registration, open registration, and drop / add periods.
  • Conduct information sessions for prospective students.
  • Interpret high school and college transcripts and make decisions regarding program enrollment.
  • Keep abreast of intake policies, procedures, deadlines, and important information for students.
  • Make recruitment visits to community events, high schools, and career fairs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Two (2) years related work experience.
  • Note : Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree.
  • Work experience in higher education or K -12 education.
  • Documented working knowledge of the Banner student Information system.
