Ready to make a visual impact? Aquent is seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join a cutting-edge team focused on Extended Reality (XR) technology. In this role, you will craft compelling visuals that showcase the power and potential of XR, shaping how it’s perceived and adopted. Your work will directly influence internal stakeholders, driving alignment and excitement around groundbreaking XR advancements.

As a key member of the XR Experiences team, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to capture the essence of XR technology through captivating video content. You will play a pivotal role in marketing XR Tech, Codec Avatars, and 3D Generative AI within the organization, ensuring that these innovative technologies are understood and embraced.

What You’ll Do

Produce high-quality videos that effectively communicate the value and capabilities of XR technology.
Develop a deep understanding of the XR technology landscape and translate complex concepts into easily digestible visuals.
Collaborate with project managers and engineering managers to create videos that support their communication goals.
Establish and maintain connections with various XR teams to gather assets and stay up-to-date on the latest developments.
Provide expert guidance on video creation best practices, ensuring content is engaging and impactful.
Utilize Adobe After Effects and other tools to create compelling visuals, particularly for AR Sharing capabilities.
Report to the XR Experiences Team while providing video editing services to the entire XR Tech organization.

Must-Have Qualifications

Highly proficient in Adobe After Effects or equivalent software.

Extensive experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve.

Comfortable shooting video with both DSLR and mobile phone cameras.

Proven experience in marketing and creating viral short-form videos for platforms like Instagram and YouTube.

Experience with recording voiceovers, AI voice generation, and on-camera presentations.

Proficient in AI video production tools and techniques.

Experience in previz and conceptual development.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.

Experience with color grading and finishing techniques.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Familiarity with capturing headset footage for AR / VR products.

Familiarity with Unity, camera settings, and post-processing techniques.

Awareness of 3D graphics and CG workflows.

Experience with Instagram Reels, social media short-form video capabilities, and AR effects.

Experience developing other marketing materials, such as storyboards and graphic design layouts.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65.89 to $73.22 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
